Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join a fast-paced printing environment in Lowell Ma. This role involves operating and maintaining printing or finishing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Operate printing or finishing machines (cutters, binders, laminators, or press equipment)
- Set up machines according to job specifications and production schedules
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Requirements:
- Previous machine operating experience in manufacturing or printing preferred
- Ability to read work orders and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in printing, labeling, or packaging environments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish, Khmer, Vietnamese, Portuguese, or Russian) is a plus
- Familiarity with bindery or press operations
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving
Ability to read rulers and measure accurately
Attention to detail and quality control
