Winding Operator

Location: Hopedale, MA
Job Type: Full-Time | 2nd Shift Monday-Friday, 4:30pm -12:30pm (Must be available to train on 1st)
Pay Rate: $18 per/hour

Job Summary:
A local label company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Winding Operator to join their production team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain label rewinding equipment to ensure product is finished accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate winding machinery to convert printed rolls into finished label rolls

• Inspect printed materials for quality, consistency, and alignment

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment

• Accurately count, label, and package finished products

• Monitor output and make adjustments to ensure proper winding and cutting

• Keep work area clean and organized

• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

• Good mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
